High Country Senior Services

Who We Serve

Older adults, their families, and the professionals who refer them.

Clients and Partners. One Local Professional.

Whether you're the older adult who needs local support, the adult child who needs eyes on the ground, or the professional who needs someone to refer to — I serve all of you.

Older Adults & Their Families

You live in the High Country and want to stay here. You may have experienced a health change, a fall, or a close call — or you may simply want to get organized before something happens. Out-of-area adult children need someone local who shows up and stays in touch.

  • Wants to age in place at home
  • Needs home modifications
  • Has limited local family support
  • Wants help navigating healthcare systems
  • Ready to get important documents organized

Clinical Care Teams

You see aging clients every day who need home safety work outside your scope of practice. You need a local specialist you can refer to — someone who shows up, communicates back, and does the work.

  • Occupational therapists
  • Physical therapists
  • Hospital discharge planners
  • Home health aides
  • Visiting nurses

Property & Construction Professionals

You encounter aging homeowners in your work and need a specialist to hand off the aging-in-place piece — assessment, modification, and coordination — without losing the client relationship.

  • Home inspectors
  • General contractors
  • Property managers
  • Senior Real Estate Specialists (SRES)
  • HOA managers for 55+ communities

Legal & Community Partners

Your clients are navigating aging in place as part of a larger plan. You need a local specialist who can handle the home side — safety assessment, modifications, care coordination — while you focus on your own practice.

  • Estate and elder law attorneys
  • Financial planners serving retirees
  • Local aging services organizations
  • Court-appointed guardians and fiduciaries
  • Clergy and faith community elder care coordinators

Why Private Pay?

Medicare and Medicaid do not cover the services High Country Senior Services provides. Care navigation, aging-in-place assessments, and document organization are not covered benefits.

Private pay is not a limitation — it's a feature. No eligibility requirements, no waitlists, no authorization delays. You pay directly for the service you need, when you need it.

Some long-term care insurance policies may cover portions of care navigation services — check your policy or call me and I can help you understand your options.

High Country Senior Services LLC is a single-provider business operated personally by Martin Toth, a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS). HCSS is not a home care agency, home health agency, medical provider, personal care service, licensed home inspector, or licensed clinical practitioner. HCSS does not employ caregivers or staff. All HCSS services are personally performed by Martin Toth. For work outside HCSS's scope — electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, roofing, and larger remodel projects — HCSS coordinates with or refers clients to appropriately licensed contractors. Services are non-medical and non-clinical, and do not include hands-on personal care, skilled nursing, medication administration, or evaluation of building systems for code compliance or condition. HCSS works alongside licensed healthcare providers and home care agencies as a private-pay coordination and home accessibility and coordination resource for older adults and their families.
